Will the ITC share price target Rs 500 by 2022?

Investing is all about probability. The probability of ITC reaching 500 by 2022 is very low. Popular Parag Paraikh flexi cap mutual fund is betting heavily on this stock because of their under valuation. But we think, the collective view of Mr Market is not that upbeat and even in this bull run, ITC didn’t attract investors’ money.

The price of a stock is moved by big investor having several cr of money to invest. Now if you have several cr of money, you are in the highest tax bracket. So, dividend of ITC will be taxed on that bracket. That is one of the reason, wealthy people would have to pay 30% tax on ITC dividend which doesn’t look attractive to them.
